The double crescent is suspended from an elaborately designed topkunan-setwith diamonds. Suspended from both the crescents are gem-set and pearl-cluster strands. The first, third, and fifth strands suspended from the lower crescent feature a gem-set unit with fringes of seed pearls, and turquoise, emerald, red, and green enameled beads, commonly known aslaria. The second and fourth strands consist only of thelaria.
